100th Follower Giveaway!

Stockpodium.com
It happened over night, while I was sleeping soundly in my newly renovated Four Poster Bed.  While I dreamt about getting stuck on a ferris wheel, it happened.  But I didn't realize it until I awoke, got my cup of coffee and logged onto The Homeless Finch.  There it was, in all it's glory!  Yep....my 100th follower!!  Wow.....there are 100 people who actually give two hoots about what I have to say?  Come on, people.....what is wrong with you?!! Yuk yuk......

I guess this is a cause for celebration!  Guess we need to do this blog style!  In keeping with who I am and what The Homeless Finch is all about, I picked up my giveaway gift while shopping with my sister at one of my local antiques and collectable malls.  After all, it has to be something rescued, something adorable, something usable, right?!  So this is what I am giving away to one of you, my followers.....

Aren't they adorable?!!  I love these little mushrooms, or toadstools, or fungi, or truffles, or whatever you call them.  They are little salt and pepper shakers and I think they are neato.  To give you an idea of size, the larger one stands about 4 inches high and the cap is about 3 3/4 inches across.  They can be yours, if you enter my giveaway.  Here's how to:

The rules:
1.  You MUST be one of my followers.
2.  Make a comment on this post about the salt and pepper shakers to enter. Limit one entry.

That's it!  No more rules..... Call me crazy to admit this, but the giveaways in blog-land annoy me.  They require way too much work to win.  They say join this, join that, follow her, follow that, enter here there and everywhere!!!  It's ridiculous!  So, I am not doing that here.  Just simply place your one entry below.  Easy peasy.

Contest ends on Tuesday, June the 21st at midnight EST.  So let me know what you think about these little 'shroons!  OH.....and Happy Father's Day to all the deserving dads out there!

You know what? I can keep those, and they would never get moldy in my refrigerator, like all the other mushrooms in my house do!

OK...here's another one:

A mushroom walks into the bar and says to the bartender "Hay , could I get a bee please"
The barthened looks at him shacking his head and say "No, we don't serve your type here"
The mushroom says "Why not? I'm a Fungi!"

Why did the religious right boycott the mushroom store? Because they have loose morels!

bad dam dam! I'm here all week...try the veal! don't forget to tip the waitresses.

Ok...did I win?

Yay 100 peeps!! Congrats. While I love the mushrooms, if I win, I would love to see them go to one of your other followers. It seems a little unfair as I only live a couple of mins away! hehe
